sooo today i had a disgusting experience that almost made me become a vegetarian. basically i had to drive an hour and a half up to new haven to pick up this pig for my boss' brother who was going to cater for a pig roast. Not really knowing what to expect, i drive up by following the directions he gives me through mapquest and i find myself at a slaughtering house. The fact being that the slaughter house was in the middle of new haven already made the whole situation sketchy. I look for some guy named Rick who im supposidly going to pick up this pig from. rick come out of the slaughter house covered in blood with a full 50 pound pig straddeling his soulders, like all gnarly bounty hunter style and he drops it into my arms. He tells me it should be nice and fresh because he just killed it a little over an hour ago. So the pig is pretty big and all i have is a little cooler that my boss gave me filled with ice to put the pig in. So i'm stuffing this whole pig into this little cooler and its completely disgusting and im thinking to myself, this pig doesn't even really look that dead.

At this point I'm a little freaked out beacuse the pig looks like it could be still alive so im driving back on the highway and i keep looking in my rear view mirror at the cooler all paranoid like its going to get up out of the cooler and start running around the van for some reason. And i guess because of the pressure of pig being stuffed in the cooler, eventually the force pushed the top of the cooler off and i glance back in my rearview mirror to find the cooler top off, and pig legs sticking out of the top. I spazz out and sweerve the van almost getting myself into about 5 different accidents, but manage to pull over and stuff the damn animal back into the cooler and finnish the trip home. When i got back i was so disgusted that i couldnt even look at meat. but... eventually that feeling wore off and i ate a cheeseburger for dinner.
